Draft Regulation to amend Regulation 81-106 respecting Investment Fund Continuous Disclosure
The securities regulator issued this draft regulation to update references to the SEDAR system within Regulation 81-106 respecting Investment Fund Continuous Disclosure. The amendments replace all instances of the term SEDAR and its associated website with placeholders for a renewed system and its corresponding website in sections 5.2, 5.3, and Form 81-106F1. These changes ensure that continuous disclosure requirements accurately reflect the transition to the new system infrastructure.
REGULATION TO AMEND REGULATION 81-106 RESPECTING INVESTMENT FUND CONTINUOUS DISCLOSURE Securities Act (chapter V-1.1, s. 331.1, par. (1), (2) and (34))
- Sections 5.2 and 5.3 of Regulation 81-106 respecting Investment Fund Continuous Disclosure (chapter V-1.1, r. 42) are amended by replacing, wherever it appears, the word “SEDAR” with the words “[Renewed System]”.
- Form 81-106F1 of the Regulation is amended: (1) in Part B: (a) by replacing, in item 1, “SEDAR at www.sedar.com” with “[Renewed System] at [insert website of Renewed System]”; (b) by replacing, in paragraph (9) of the instructions of item 5, “www.sedar.com” with “[insert website of Renewed System]”; (2) by replacing, in item 1 of Part C, “SEDAR at www.sedar.com” with “[Renewed System] at [insert website of Renewed System]”.
