National Definition for Women-Owned/Led Businesses in Sri Lanka

Sri Lankan regulators have established a national guideline defining the criteria for classifying businesses as woman-owned or woman-led. The framework requires enterprises to demonstrate either majority female ownership or at least twenty percent equity paired with substantial female executive and board representation. It further mandates verifiable documentation of ownership structures, designated major decision-makers, and ongoing female control over financial resources and core operational functions.
