The OCC, Federal Reserve, and FDIC issued a supplemental rule to the 2023 Community Reinvestment Act final rule, extending the applicability date for facility-based assessment areas and public file provisions from April 1, 2024, to January 1, 2026. The agencies also adopted technical amendments to correct omissions, update cross-references, and align regulations with recent asset-size threshold changes. Additionally, the document corrects language in the preamble regarding the OCC’s Unfunded Mandates Reform Act analysis and invites public comment on the interim final rule by May 13, 2024.
