Seychelles Gambling (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2020
The Minister for Finance, Trade, Investment and Economic Planning amended the Seychelles Gambling (Fees) Regulations 2020 to allow annual licence fees for the 1 May 2020 to 30 April 2021 period to be paid in six-month instalments. This new regulation operates under section 56 of the Seychelles Gambling Act, 2014 and requires prior approval from the regulatory Authority before licence holders utilize the payment schedule. [28th September 2020] Supplement to Official Gazette 597 S.I. 137 of 2020 SEYCHELLES GAMBLING ACT, 2014 (Act 29 of 2014) Seychelles Gambling (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations, 2020 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 56 of the Seychelles Gambling Act, 2014, the Minister for Finance, Trade, Investment and Economic Planning hereby makes the following Regulations —
- These Regulations may be cited as the Seychelles Gambling (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations, 2020.
- The Seychelles Gambling (Fees) Regulations 2020 is hereby amended, by inserting after regulation 6, the following regulation — “6A. Notwithstanding regulation 6, the annual licence fee payable under regulation 3, st on renewal of licence for the period of 1 May th 2020 to 30 April 2021, may be paid in instalments over a period of 6 months, subject to the approval of the Authority.”.
