The Governing Board of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a decision on April 26, 2012, to put into circulation new 10, 20, 50, and 100 Convertible Mark banknotes printed with the 2012 issue year. These banknotes, available in both Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska versions, are declared equal legal tender throughout the country and must be accepted by all public and private entities. The Central Bank will progressively introduce these notes into circulation starting June 1, 2012, while previously issued banknotes remain valid legal tender.
