BVI Business Companies and Limited Partnerships (Beneficial Ownership) (Amendment) Regulations, 2025
The Minister responsible for Financial Services in the British Virgin Islands issued this notice to formally appoint the effective date for the BVI Business Companies and Limited Partnerships (Beneficial Ownership) (Amendment) Regulations, 2025. The notice declares that these statutory instruments, designated as S.I. No. 63 of 2025, shall come into force on July 1, 2025. This action fulfills the requirement under regulation 1(2) of the Regulations to specify the commencement date via a notice published in the Gazette.
VIRGIN ISLANDS STATUTORY INSTRUMENT 2025 NO. 64 BVI BUSINESS COMPANIES AND LIMITED PARTNERSHIPS (BENEFICIAL OWNERSHIP) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2025 (S.I. No. 63 of 2025) A NOTICE MADE BY THE MINISTER RESPONSIBLE FOR FINANCIAL SERVICES UNDER REGULATION 1(2) OF THE BVI BUSINESS COMPANIES AND LIMITED PARTNERSHIPS (BENEFICIAL OWNERSHIP) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2025 DECLARING THE DATE ON WHICH THE SAID REGULATIONS SHALL COME INTO FORCE [Gazetted 1 st July, 2025] WHEREAS it is provided by regulation 1(2) of the BVI Business Companies and Limited Partnerships (Beneficial Ownership) (Amendment) Regulations, 2025, S.I. No. 63 of 2025, that the said Regulations shall come into force on such date as the Minister may, by Notice published in the Gazette, appoint; NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers vested in me, I hereby appoint the 1 st day of July, 2025 to be the date on which the BVI Business Companies and Limited Partnerships (Beneficial Ownership) (Amendment) Regulations, 2025 shall come into force.
