The Central Bank of Sri Lanka issues Circular No. 01 of 2025 to announce the establishment of the Market Operations Department effective 02 April 2025. This new department is formed by amalgamating the Domestic Operations Department and the Domestic Foreign Exchange Market Division. Existing regulations and operating instructions remain in force, and new contact details for the department have been provided.
