The Australian Securities and Investments Commission suspended the Australian financial services licence of Oscar Oliver Capital Ltd for four months, effective from 31 March 2026 to 31 July 2026. This action was taken under section 915B(3)(a) of the Corporations Act 2001 because the company ceased carrying on a financial services business on 2 July 2023. The suspension has been recorded on ASIC’s Professional Registers, and Oscar Oliver retains the right to apply to the Administrative Review Tribunal for a review of this decision.
On 31 March 2026, ASIC suspended the Australian financial services ( AFS ) licence of Oscar Oliver Capital Ltd ( Oscar Oliver ) for a period of four (4) months until 31 July 2026.
ASIC has suspended the licence pursuant to s915B(3)(a) of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) as ASIC found that Oscar Oliver had ceased carrying on a financial services business since 2 July 2023.
ASIC may suspend or cancel an AFS licence of a body corporate should it cease to carry on its financial services business.
The suspension has been recorded on ASIC’s Professional Registers .
Oscar Oliver may apply to the Administrative Review Tribunal for a review of ASIC’s decision.
Background
Oscar Oliver was incorporated on 22 January 2018, and has been previously known as Veloce Funds Management Ltd (between 22 January 2018 and 28 January 2020) and Zenio Capital Limited (between 29 January 2020 and 6 January 2022).
Since 19 February 2019, Oscar Oliver held AFS licence number 506982.
