SD Circular No. 01: Monthly Submission of Agent Banking Data via Revised Format and Annexure-1

Dear Sir/Madam, Regarding the submission of Agent Banking Data/Reports through the Revised Format as per the existing guidelines. With reference to Circular No. Agent Banking Dept & IT Div.Circular-1(1)/2025-252 dated 4th June, 2025 issued by the Agent Banking Department & IT Division regarding the submission of Agent Banking Data/Reports through the Revised Format, you are requested to kindly note the following: 2. In the aforementioned circular, it was instructed that the existing data/reports on Agent Banking pilot projects, including the Geolocation and Transaction details of Agents and Customers, should be submitted through the Revised Format as per the guidelines. Therefore, in consultation with the Bangladesh Bank Policy Department and the IT Division, and to ensure the accuracy of Agent Banking data/reports, the existing format has been revised to include the Gender of Agents, Customers, and Account Holders, along with the Profitability Status of Agents, after verifying the existing data/reports (see Annexure). Accordingly, the following instructions have been issued by the Agent Banking Department & IT Division, Circular Office, for the proper submission of Agent Banking Data/Reports through the Revised Format: K) From July 2026 onwards, the data/reports for the previous month shall be submitted to the Agent Banking Department & IT Division, Circular Office via email (agentbanking.statbb@gmail.com) within the first 10 days of the following month. Additionally, the relevant data/reports shall be submitted along with the Annexure (Annexure-1) of the submission format; L) The existing format shall remain valid until June 2026. Agent Banking data/reports shall be submitted based on the instructions of Circular No. Agent Banking Dept & IT Div.Circular-1(1)/2025-252 dated 4th June, 2025 until June 2026. However, from July 2026 onwards, the new format shall be used for submission; M) If there is any discrepancy in the Mapping/Status of Geolocation in the Revised Format, it shall be verified through the relevant email; N) The Head of Department/Deputy General Manager shall be responsible for the accuracy of the submitted data/reports. In case of any discrepancy in the submitted data/reports, the respective Head of Department/Deputy General Manager shall be held accountable. 3.
