LEGAL NOTICE NO. 283 REPUBLIC OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO No. 8 of 2025. By Her Excellency CHRISTINE CARLA KANGALOO, O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces CHRISTINE CARLA KANGALOO President A PROCLAMATION WHEREAS it is enacted by section 2 of the Miscellaneous Provisions [Proceeds of Crime, Anti-Terrorism, Financial Intelligence Unit of Trinidad and Tobago, Securities, Insurance, Non-Profit Organisations, the Civil Asset Recovery and Management and Unexplained Wealth and Miscellaneous Provisions (FATF Compliance)] Act, No. 17 of 2024 (“the FATF Compliance Act, 2024”), that the FATF Compliance Act, 2024, shall come into effect on such date as is set by the President by Proclamation: And whereas it has become necessary and expedient that sections 1, 2, 3(a), (b), (d) and 3(e)(i), (ii), (iii) and (iv), 4(a), 5(a), (b), (c), (d) and (e), 6(a), (b) and (c), 7, 8 and 9 of the FATF Compliance Act come into effect on 15th August, 2025: Now, therefore, I, CHRISTINE CARLA KANGALOO, President as aforesaid, do hereby fix the 15th day of August, 2025, as the date on which sections 1, 2, 3(a), (b), (d) and 3(e)(i), (ii), (iii) and (iv), 4(a), 5(a), (b), (c), (d) and (e), 6(a), (b) and (c), 7, 8 and 9 of the Miscellaneous Provisions [Proceeds of Crime, Anti-Terrorism, Financial Intelligence Legal Supplement Part B—Vol. 64, No. 122—15th August, 2025 1131 [L.S.]
