Legal Notice No. 283 of 2025 – The Miscellaneous Provisions FATF Compliance Act No. 17 of 2024
President Christine Carla Kangaloo of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago issues Proclamation No. 8 of 2025 to activate specific provisions of the FATF Compliance Act, 2024. The proclamation mandates that sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 of the Act come into force on August 15, 2025. This legal notice formally establishes the effective date for these anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing measures under the authority of the President.
