Amendments to Policy Statement to Regulation 51-102 respecting Continuous Disclosure Obligations
Canadian securities regulators amended the Policy Statement to Regulation 51-102 to align continuous disclosure obligations with the phased implementation of the System for Electronic Data Analysis and Retrieval + (SEDAR+). The updates mandate that documents required or permitted to be provided to regulators, except in Québec, must be transmitted electronically through SEDAR+. Additionally, the text replaces all references to the legacy SEDAR system with SEDAR+ across multiple sections and specifies that material change reports be filed under the Change in Corporate Structure category on the new platform.
