Registers of entities we regulate

The Prudential Regulation Authority maintains public registers for all entities it regulates and supervises, including banks, insurers, non-bank deposit takers, and designated settlement systems. These lists provide transparency on licensed institutions currently operating in New Zealand as well as those that have ceased registration. The registers also cover covered bond programmes and deposit takers eligible for the Depositor Compensation Scheme starting from July 2025.
