Registered Bank Disclosure Statements (Overseas Incorporated Registered Banks) Order 2014 Amendment Order 2021 (No. 2)

The Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the advice of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, issued this Order in Council to amend the Registered Bank Disclosure Statements (Overseas Incorporated Registered Banks) Order 2014. The amendments update cross-references and defined terms to align with the Reserve Bank's revised capital adequacy framework, including replacing specific regulatory documents with BPR codes and redefining terms such as 'ultimate non-bank holding company'. These changes, which come into force on 31 December 2021, ensure disclosure requirements for overseas incorporated registered banks remain consistent with current accounting and prudential standards without materially altering their disclosure obligations.
