Regulation to Amend the Securities Regulation (Modernization of the Prospectus Filing Model for Investment Funds)
The Government of Québec has published a draft regulation to modernize the prospectus filing model for investment funds by amending the Securities Regulation. The draft is open for written comments until October 18, 2024, following its September 4 publication in the Gazette officielle du Québec. The government may approve the amended regulation with or without modifications after a mandatory 45-day review period.

- Regulation to amend the Securities Regulation. This draft Regulation was published in Part 2 of the Gazette officielle du Québec dated September 4, 2024 (Vol. 156, No. 36). The text of the draft Regulation may be approved by the government, with or without amendment, after 45 days have elapsed since its publication in the Gazette officielle du Québec on October 18, 2024. Comments regarding the above may be made in writing to the address given in the notice before the expiry of the 45-day period from the date of publication in the Gazette officielle du Québec.
