Korea-Poland MOU on Banking Supervision Signed to Promote Overseas Expansion of Korean Financial Services

The Financial Services Commission of Korea and the Polish Financial Supervision Authority signed a memorandum of understanding on banking supervision to facilitate the entry of Korean banks into the Polish market. This agreement aims to support the financing needs of Korean companies operating in Poland and enable the overseas expansion of their corporate loan operations to Poland and other EU member states. The document also notes that both regulators intend to explore expanding bilateral cooperation beyond banking into the capital market and insurance sectors.
