Resolution Measures Committee Decision on Withdrawal of TT Hellenic Postbank S.A. Authorisation
The Resolution Measures Committee of the Bank of Greece issued this decision on January 18, 2013, to withdraw the banking authorization of TT Hellenic Postbank S.A. and place it under special liquidation. This action follows the transfer of the institution's assets and liabilities to the newly established interim entity, New TT Hellenic Postbank S.A., pursuant to a Minister of Finance decision. The revoked institution is henceforth restricted to conducting only those operations strictly necessary to facilitate its liquidation process.
