The OCC, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, FDIC, and NCUA propose amendments to their Uniform and Local Rules of Practice and Procedure to modernize administrative adjudications. The proposed changes primarily recognize the use of electronic communications and signatures in all aspects of administrative hearings to increase efficiency and fairness. Additionally, the OCC proposes to consolidate its rules for national banks and Federal savings associations, while all agencies update definitions and remove obsolete references to the Office of Thrift Supervision.
