Assunto: 2nd Extension of the Defined Deadline for the Application of the Resolution Measure to Banco Privado São Tomé and Príncipe. Under the provisions of letters d) and f) of Article 8° and letter d) of Article 38.2, of its Organic Law, combined with Articles 12° to 17° of Law 06/2015 "Law on Special Measures for the Sanitation, Resolution and Liquidation of Banking Institutions", the Administrative Council of the Central Bank, meeting in Ordinary Session on May 16 at 11:00 hours, resolved to extend the defined deadline for the Resolution of Banco Privado São Tomé and Príncipe by an additional 30 (thirty) days, concluding the activities of the Official Administration Team for Resolution, designated according to No. 2 of point nine of Resolution 04/CAE/2018, and appointing Mr. Lindley Rodrigues Monteiro de Jesus as Official Administrator for Resolution, as established in point 2 of Resolution 10/CAO/2018 dated May 16. This extension is based on the need to continue the already initiated process, in order to guarantee the success of the resolution for Banco Privado STP and, consequently, the normal functioning of the national financial system; During this period, services provided by the institution will continue to be carried out normally.
