Amendments to Policy Statement to Regulation 45-108 respecting Crowdfunding
The securities regulators amended the Policy Statement to Regulation 45-108 respecting Crowdfunding to align with the phased implementation of the System for Electronic Data Analysis and Retrieval Plus (SEDAR+). The revision mandates that all documents required or permitted to be provided to regulators, excluding those in Québec, must be transmitted electronically through SEDAR+. This update clarifies that the electronic filing requirement applies to all reports, forms, and notices, subject to specific exclusions outlined in the Appendix of Regulation 13-103.
