Information Circular PF No 5 of 2017: Investments in Steinhoff International Holdings
The South African Financial Services Board issued Information Circular PF No 5 of 2017 to mandate retirement funds to disclose their exact investment exposure to Steinhoff International Holdings and its subsidiaries. Prompted by a recent sharp decline in Steinhoff's share price and a Minister of Finance statement, the regulator requires funds to complete and electronically submit an attached survey document by close of business on 12 December 2017.
