Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act 2007
Enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Samoa, this legislation establishes a comprehensive legal framework for the provision and obtaining of international mutual assistance in criminal investigations and proceedings. It empowers the Attorney-General to formally request foreign jurisdictions to locate individuals, obtain evidence, serve legal documents, and enforce confiscation or restraining orders related to serious offences.
