Bank of Portugal issued Notice No. 4/2025 to amend Notice No. 5/2024 regarding the principles and rules governing advertising for financial products and services under its supervision. The regulation applies to credit institutions, payment institutions, and other financial entities, updating standards for product, activity, and institutional advertising. It entered into force on July 15, 2025, following publication in the Official Gazette on July 14, 2025.
