Draft Regulation to Amend Regulation 81-101 Respecting Mutual Fund Prospectus Disclosure

The securities regulators have issued a draft regulation to amend Regulation 81-101 regarding mutual fund prospectus disclosure to reduce regulatory burden. The amendments require mutual funds to post specific information exclusively on their designated website, replacing previous provisions that allowed posting on any fund or family website. Additionally, Form 81-101F3 is updated to reflect this change by specifying the insertion of the mutual fund's designated website in relevant statements.
