The Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) of Egypt issued Decision No. 109 of 2020 to reduce study and inspection service fees by 50% for medium and small companies listed on the Egyptian Exchange. This reduction applies to services previously regulated under FRA Board Decisions Nos. 83 of 2012, 125 of 2017, 67 of 2018, and 63 of 2019. The decree becomes effective the day after its September 30, 2020 issuance and directs competent departments to implement the revised fee schedule.

for Medium and Small Companies Listed on the Egyptian Exchange
After reviewing the Capital Market Law issued by Law No. (95) of 1992 and its executive regulations;
and on Law No. (10) of 2009 regulating supervision over non-banking financial markets and instruments;
and on Decision of the Board of Directors of the Authority No. (11) of 2014 regarding the rules for listing and delisting securities on the Egyptian Exchange;
and on Decisions of the Board of Directors of the Authority Nos. (83) of 2012, (125) of 2017, (67) of 2018, and (63) of 2019, regarding the fees for services provided by the Authority in the field of securities;
and after approval by the Board of Directors in its meeting held on 30/9/2020;
The fees for study and inspection services due to the Authority for the services referenced in Decisions of the Board of Directors of the Authority Nos. (83) of 2012, (125) of 2017, (67) of 2018, and (63) of 2019, are reduced by (50%) for medium and small companies listed on the Egyptian Exchange.
This Decision shall be enforced from the day following its issuance, and the competent departments shall implement it according to their respective jurisdictions.
