To the Esteemed, Peace, mercy and blessings of God be upon you,

Subject: Provision of Small Denominations and Coins.

In accordance with the powers of the Saudi Central Bank to issue instructions related to financial institutions and their operations, pursuant to the provisions of its system issued by Royal Decree No. (M/36) dated 1442/04/11H, and to the Saudi Central Bank's follow-up circular No. (42015321) dated 1442/03/11H regarding the instructions communicated pursuant to Circular No. (341000111354) dated 1434/09/15H concerning the necessity for banks and financial institutions operating in the Kingdom to secure the public's requirements of small denominations and coins.

Accordingly, the Saudi Central Bank confirms to all banks and financial institutions the necessity of maintaining sufficient quantities of small denominations and coins to meet public requests for obtaining or exchanging them, and that this be made available to everyone across all branches.

For information and necessary action, please note that the Saudi Central Bank will conduct field visits to cash centers and bank/financial institution branches to ensure the availability of various small denominations and coins for individual and corporate clients.
