Decision on the Unique Blank Form Bill

On the basis of Article 17 clause 1 item 2 of the Law on the Central Bank of Montenegro (OGRM 52/00 and 47/01) and Article 113 of the Law on the Bill of Exchange (OGRM 45/05), the Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro, at its meeting held on 28 December 2005, passed the following DECISION ON THE UNIQUE BLANK FORM BILL Article 1 This Decision regulates the form of the unique blank form bill in the Republic of Montenegro. Article 2 The dimensions of the unique blank form bill with a white edge are 245 mm by 97 mm, and without a white edge 235 by 86 mm. The unique blank form bill is printed on special white paper with built-in filigree protection. The text of the unique blank form bill is printed in black. Article 3 The unique blank form bill has the following form:

1. On the left side of the unique blank form bill (length 60 mm) on the decoration, on the upper part in the middle, the word “SERIAL” is printed, and beneath that word – the identification mark that contains two marks in letters and seven numeric marks, and in the lower part, in the middle, there is the sign of the Central Bank of Montenegro with a hologram foil, with a dimension of 15 mm with 7 mm.
2. On the right side of the unique blank form bill ( length 175 mm), on the decoration, starting from the upper left corner, across the whole length of this part of the unique blank form bill, in six rows, this text is printed:

“In ---------------- 20----“, //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// (place and date of issue) (theamountof the bill written in numbers) “------------------------------------- pay for this ---------------------------------------------- bill”, (maturity of the bill) “by-----------------------------------------------------------------------order the amount of”, (payee - the name of the person by whose order the amount must be paid) ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// (the amount of the bill written in numbers) “value received------------- and put to the account----report------------------------“, “inform---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “, (drawee- the name of the person that must pay) “Payment----------------- drawer (of a bill)------------------------------------------- ( bank of the debtor) ( signature of the person that issued the bill) In the upper right angle and in the middle part, a line is printed for the entry of the amounts of the bill debt, in numbers and words. 3) In the lower part of the unique blank form bill, in the middle, the following text is printed:” Issued by the Central Bank of Montenegro”. Article 4 On the day this decision comes into force, the Decision on the Unique Blank Form Bill will cease to be valid ( OGRM 28/02 and 63/04). Article 5 This Decision shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the “Official Gazette of the Republic of Montenegro”.
