Circular No. 05/EFI/2021, of 18 November - Submission of Information Maps on Banking Agents
The Banco de Moçambique mandates that contracting institutions submit monthly information on their banking agents by the tenth day of each month. This directive establishes a harmonized reporting mechanism requiring data to be completed and transmitted via the standardized template in the Bank Supervision Application (BSA). Non-compliance with this Circular, effective 1 December 2021, is subject to legally prescribed sanctions, with technical inquiries directed to the Regulation and Licensing Department.
