COBAC Instruction I-2016/02 Defining Presentation Models for Required Documents under Regulation R-2016/02

The Commission Bancaire de l’Afrique Centrale (COBAC) issued Instruction I-2016/02 to standardize the presentation models for mandatory documents required under Regulation R-2016/02 governing changes in the status of credit institutions. Instruction COBAC I-2016/02 Defining Presentation Models for Required Documents under Regulation COBAC R-2016/02 on Changes in the Status of Credit Institutions

The President of the Commission Bancaire de l’Afrique Centrale;

Having regard to the Convention of 16 October 1990 establishing a Commission Bancaire de l’Afrique Centrale (COBAC);

Having regard to the Convention of 17 January 1992 harmonizing banking regulation in the Central African States;

Having regard to Regulation No. 02/015/CEMAC/UMAC/COBAC of 27 March 2015 amending and supplementing certain conditions regarding the exercise of the banking profession in the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC) and subsequent texts;

Having regard to COBAC Regulation R-2016/02 on changes in the status of credit institutions;

DECIDES:

Article 1: This instruction defines the presentation models for certain elements constituting the standard file regarding changes in the status of credit institutions.

Article 2: The required elements must conform to the models defined in this instruction. Any non-conforming document is inadmissible.

Article 3: This instruction repeals all prior contrary provisions and enters into force as of its signature date.
