This measure aims to enhance the financial stability of the MTPL System through increased savings while ensuring the effective fulfillment of the Fund's responsibilities. The first payment after the suspension is scheduled to occur within ten business days following the first quarter of 2026, with the resolution entering into force ten days after its official publication.

the Payment of Regular Contribution Fees to the Guarantee Fund

For the purpose of achieving enhanced financial stability of the MTPL System through increased savings, without compromising the effective fulfillment of the Guarantee Fund’s tasks and responsibilities;
In view of the proposal submitted under Decision No. 4-L, dated January 30, 2025, of the Board of the “Armenian Motor Insurers’ Bureau”, a Non-Governmental Organization; and
Pursuant to Article 46 (3) of the Republic of Armenia Law “On Compulsory Insurance Against Civil Liability in Respect of the Use of Motor Vehicles”; and Article 2 (3) of the Republic of Armenia Law “On the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia”,

E n a c t s:
Suspend the payment of regular contribution fees to the Guarantee Fund for the second, third and fourth quarters of 2025, taking into account that the first payment after the suspension will be within 10 (ten) business days following the 1st quarter of 2026.
This resolution to enter into force on the tenth (10th) day following its official publication.
