Bank Indonesia Regulation 12/4/PBI/2010 on Issuance and Circulation of the 2010 Issue 1,000 Rupiah Coin
Bank Indonesia issued Regulation Number 12/4/PBI/2010 to authorize the issuance and circulation of the 2010 issue 1,000 Rupiah coin as legal tender in Indonesia. The regulation specifies that the coin is made of nickel-plated steel with a diameter of 24.15 mm and features the Garuda Pancasila on the obverse and an Angklung with Gedung Sate on the reverse. This currency was officially placed into circulation starting April 1, 2010, following its enactment on March 1, 2010.
