Unofficial Translation BANK INDONESIA REGULATION NUMBER: 12/4/PBI/2010 CONCERNING ISSUANCE AND CIRCULATION OF THE YEAR 2010 ISSUE OF COIN IN THE 1,000 (ONE THOUSAND) RUPIAH DENOMINATION BY THE GRACE OF THE GOD THE ALMIGHTY THE GOVERNOR OF BANK INDONESIA, Considering : a. Whereas the growth in public activity in cash transactions needs to be supported by availability of adequate amounts of rupiah currency with easily recognizable marks; b. Whereas the issuance and the circulation of rupiah by Bank Indonesia to provide adequate amounts of rupiah in public as legal tender, that accelerating public activity in cash transactions; c. Now therefore, based on the considerations referred to in letter a and letter b, it is necessary to enact a Bank Indonesia Regulation concerning the Issuance and Circulation of the Year 2010 issue of coin in the 1,000 (one thousand) rupiah denomination. In view of : 1. Act of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 1999 concerning Bank Indonesia (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 66 of 1999, Supplement to the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 3843) as amended by Act of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 of 2009 (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 7 of 2009, Supplement to the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 4962); 2. Bank Indonesia Regulation Number 6/14/PBI/2004 concerning Issuance, Circulation, Revocation as Legal Tender, Withdrawal from Circulation, and Destruction of the Rupiah Currency (State Gazette of the Republic of

Unofficial Translation Indonesia Number 52 of 2004, Supplement to State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 4338) as amended by Bank Indonesia Regulation Number 9/10/PBI/2007 (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 113 of 2007, Supplement to State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 4762); HAS DECREED: To enact : THE BANK INDONESIA REGULATION CONCERNING ISSUANCE AND CIRCULATION OF THE YEAR 2010 ISSUE OF COIN IN THE 1,000 (ONE THOUSAND) RUPIAH DENOMINATION. Article 1 Bank Indonesia shall issue and circulate the year 2010 issue of currency in the 1,000 (one thousand) rupiah denomination as legal tender in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia. Article 2 The rupiah currency referred to in Article 1 is a coin produced from nickel plated steel material. Article 3 The face value of the rupiah currency referred to in Article 1 is Rp 1,000 (one thousand rupiahs). Article 4 The specifications of the currency in the 1,000 (one thousand) rupiah denomination referred to in Article 1 are:

1. color the obverse and reverse sides of the coin is minted on silvery white color.
2. images a. obverse side

1. the number “1000” representing face value;

Unofficial Translation 2) above the number “1000”, the national emblem of the “Garuda Pancasila” and the inscription of “BANK INDONESIA”, and below the number “1000”, the inscription of “RUPIAH”; b. reverse side

1. main image depicting Angklung with image of Gedung Sate as background, and inscripted “ANGKLUNG” above the main image;
2. below the main image, the number “2010” representing year of issue;
3. at the edge of coin, a row of dots forming circular line at the edge of the coin; c. plain coin side.

3. material the specifications of the coin are as follows: a. made of nickel plated steel; b. diameter 24.15 ± 0.10 mm; c. thickness 1.60 ± 0.10 mm; d. weight 4.5 ± 0.18 gram. Article 5 The Rupiah Currency as referred to in Article 1 shall be issued and placed in circulation commencing from April 1, 2010. Article 6 This Bank Indonesia Regulation shall come into force on the date of its enactment. So everyone knows, it is ordered that this rule be published in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia
