Draft Amendments to Policy Statement to Regulation 81-101 respecting Mutual Fund Prospectus Disclosure
Canadian securities regulators issued draft amendments to Policy Statement 81-101 to reduce regulatory burden for investment fund issuers. The changes standardize disclosure requirements by replacing references to various websites with the specific term 'designated website' across Sections 2.8, 4.1.3, and 7.4. This terminology update ensures consistent language regarding where mutual fund prospectuses and related documents must be made available to investors.
