Bank of Uganda Reminder on End-of-Year Submissions
The Bank of Uganda mandates all commercial banks and credit institutions to file statutory end-of-year documentation by 31 January 2022. Required submissions encompass the 2022 annual license fee, updated information sheets with director and shareholder declaration forms, a December 2021 shareholder register, affiliate and associate data, and board member records. These filings fulfill obligations under the Financial Institutions Act and related licensing, ownership, and consolidated supervision regulations.
