The Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is adopting a final rule to add a general license to the Burma Sanctions Regulations and correct references in the Sudan Stabilization and Ukraine-/Russia-Related Sanctions Regulations. The new general license authorizes the provision of agricultural commodities, medicine, medical devices, and related software updates for personal, non-commercial use to individuals whose property is blocked under the Burma sanctions. Additionally, the rule updates terminology in the Sudan regulations to use the acronym OFAC and corrects an erroneous cross-reference in the Ukraine-/Russia-related regulations.
