Compliance with EBA guidelines on credit managers assessing the knowledge and experience of their management or administrative body under Directive (EU) 2021/2167 (EBA/GL/2023/09)
The Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR) declared compliance with the European Banking Authority's guidelines regarding the assessment of knowledge and experience by credit managers. These guidelines, applicable from June 27, 2024, require credit managers to evaluate whether their entire management or administrative body possesses appropriate expertise under Directive (EU) 2021/2167. In application of this directive and the EBA guidelines, the ACPR adopted Instruction No. 2024-I-04 concerning the appointment or renewal of a senior manager or a member of a supervisory body.
