Draft Regulation to amend Regulation 62-103 respecting the Early Warning System and Related Take-Over Bid and Insider Reporting Issues

The regulator amends Regulation 62-103 to update the definition of financial institution within the Early Warning System framework. The amendment adds banks listed in Schedule III of the Bank Act (S.C. 1991, c. 46) to the list of qualifying financial institutions. This change ensures that these specific banks are correctly categorized for insider reporting and take-over bid requirements under the Securities Act.
