The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation extends the public comment period for its February 10, 2020, proposed rulemaking on brokered deposits restrictions for less than well capitalized insured depository institutions. The agency determined that an extension is appropriate to allow interested parties additional time to analyze the proposal and prepare comments. Consequently, the comment deadline is moved from April 10, 2020, to June 9, 2020.
