CL-2025-049: Promotion of the 10-Piso Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Coin
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas issued this circular to instruct all banks to promote the new 10-piso ASEAN coin, which will be issued as legal tender in January 2026 to commemorate the Philippines' role as ASEAN Chair. Banks are required to utilize prescribed art cards on their social media pages, ATM screens, and websites to raise public awareness and encourage daily transactions. This initiative aims to ensure the coin's active circulation alongside existing 10-piso denominations by supporting its public acceptance through standardized promotional materials.
