2019-05-24 | 2019-09245The OCC, Federal Reserve, and FDIC propose risk-based categories to tailor regulatory capital and standardized liquidity requirements for U.S. intermediate holding companies and subsidiaries of foreign banking organizations. The proposal would require foreign banking organizations with $100 billion or more in combined U.S. assets to comply with liquidity coverage ratio and net stable funding ratio requirements for their U.S. intermediate holding companies. Additionally, the Board proposes applying standardized liquidity requirements to certain U.S. depository institution holding companies that significantly rely on short-term wholesale funding.
