The Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) issued FAQ 1257 and updated the Specially Designated Nationals List to target Iran's largest digital asset exchanges and rebel commanders in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. OFAC designated four Iranian individuals and four Iranian entities, including Nobitex, Bitpin, Ramzinex, and Wallex, for operating digital asset platforms facilitating sanctions evasion and terror finance. Additionally, two individuals linked to conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo were added to the SDN List for their roles in driving regional instability.
