2020-07-22 | Carta Circular 4072The Central Bank of Brazil issued Circular Letter No. 4072 to amend the layout and filling instructions for Document 3040 (Credit Risk Data) within the Credit Information System (SCR). The regulation introduces a new regulatory usage type for operations contracted under the CGPE (Working Capital Program for Business Preservation) and mandates its application to both new operations and credit assignments. These new versions of the layout and instructions become effective as of the August 2020 data base, with optional submission for July 2020 under assisted production.
The Head of the Department of Monitoring of the Financial System (Desig), in the exercise of the authority conferred by Article 23, item I, clause 'a', of the Internal Regulations of the Central Bank of Brazil, annexed to Ordinance No. 84,287, of February 27, 2015, based on Article 77, item III of the aforementioned Regulations, and in view of the provisions of Provisional Measure No. 992, of July 16, 2020, Resolutions Nos. 4,571, of May 26, 2017, and 4,838, of July 21, 2020, Circular No. 3,870, of December 19, 2017, and Circular Letter No. 3,869, of March 19, 2018,
RESOLVES:
Art. 1. The new versions of the Layout and Filling Instructions for document 3040 - Credit Risk Data, available on the Central Bank of Brazil's website at the electronic address https://www.bcb.gov.br/estabilidadefinanceira/scrdoc3040, enter into force as of the August 2020 data base.
Art. 2. Domain 04 with the description "Operations contracted under the CGPE (Resolution No. 4,838 - Working Capital Program for Business Preservation)" was included in "Annex 37: Type of Regulatory Usage".
Sole Paragraph. The information referred to in the caput must be used for both new operations granted and those that are the subject of credit assignment.
Art. 3. Submission of the information referred to in Art. 2 is permitted for the July 2020 data base, under assisted production regime.
Art. 4. This Circular Letter enters into force on the date of its publication.
