Notice of the Authority Relating to Filing of Interim Return and Other Documents for the Half Year Ending June 30, 2018 – Insurers of Persons
The Autorité des marchés financiers requires Quebec-licensed insurers and reinsurers of persons to electronically file their half-year interim returns, capital adequacy reports, and compliance attestations for the period ending June 30, 2018. Submissions must be completed via AMF E-Services by August 14, 2018, with a specific extension to September 4 for Capital Adequacy Requirements documents, while maintaining signed paper copies at the insurer’s premises. Failure to submit the required or requested documents within these prescribed timeframes subjects insurers to administrative monetary sanctions under section 405.1 of the Act respecting insurance.
