The Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) requires market participants, including investment firms, insurers, and pension funds, to complete two parallel T+1 readiness surveys by 9 June 2026 to monitor sector preparation for the 11 October 2027 settlement cycle shortening from T+2 to T+1. The national AFM survey will assess Dutch readiness with results shared exclusively with the AFM and ESMA, while the European survey coordinated by the EU T+1 Industry Committee will track EU-wide progress through aggregated, anonymous data. Participants are also directed to ESMA and EUIC resources and an upcoming EU T+1 Roadshow event in Prague on 26 May 2026 to stay informed on transition requirements and remaining focus areas.
