CSA Proposal to Establish an Investor Advisory Panel
The Canadian Securities Administrators propose establishing a pan-Canadian Investor Advisory Panel to provide structured, expert representation of retail investor views on regulatory policy. The independent panel will consist of 5 to 9 diverse members appointed for staggered terms to advise on rule-making, conduct consultations, and submit written comments on proposed instruments. The CSA seeks public comments on this proposal and the associated Terms of Reference by February 1, 2022.
