The Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) issued Cuba General License 1 and six new FAQs while updating the Specially Designated Nationals List. OFAC designated five individuals and five entities linked to Iran-backed terrorist militias in Iraq for secondary sanctions under Executive Order 13224. Additionally, OFAC updated the designations of two Cuban entities, GAESA and MOA Nickel SA, to include the Cuba-related Executive Order designation.
