**Consultation on Proposed Amendments to the Law of Commerce issued pursuant to Decree Law No. (7) of 1987**
With reference to the Law of Commerce issued pursuant to Decree Law No. (7) of 1987, the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has received proposed amendments to it (please see copy attached) from the Ministry of Legal Affairs.
The CBB requests all retail banks to review the attached proposed amendments, from a technical/operational and from a legal perspective, and provide the CBB with their comments including “nil comments” in an editable format to consultation@cbb.gov.bh by 6th November, 2022.
The draft amendments are also available on the CBB website (www.cbb.gov.bh) under “Open Consultations” Section.
