The Banco Nacional de Angola mandates that Multicaixa System participating banks implement and offer a Card Protection Service featuring card blocking, unblocking, and daily transaction limit management across specified interbank and remote channels. Participating institutions must deploy this service in at least one channel within 90 days and across all referenced channels within 120 days of the instruction's publication. Failure to comply constitutes a punishable offense under the Angolan Payment System Law, with interpretive disputes resolved directly by the central bank.
