(RMS) Updating Supervisory Data Forms for Exchange Centers and Submitting Them Through the System

Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) has issued a circular mandating exchange centers to update and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual supervisory data forms electronically through the Returns Management System (RMS). The directive establishes strict validation rules and submission deadlines, requiring centers to file sales/purchases data within five days of month-end, quarterly currency and employee data within fifteen days, financial statement comparisons within thirty-five to sixty-five days, and annual regulatory data within thirty days. Effective from the third quarter of 2022, non-compliant centers face regulatory enforcement actions as SAMA transitions to this standardized digital reporting framework.
