The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation jointly extended the public comment period for their January 2020 Notice of Proposed Rulemaking regarding comprehensive amendments to Community Reinvestment Act regulations. The agencies moved the deadline from March 9, 2020, to April 8, 2020, to provide interested persons additional time to analyze the proposal and prepare their comments. This action responds to public requests for more time to address the matters raised in the NPR, which represents the first comprehensive regulatory update since 1995.
